Laughing with'em!
I was asked "do Christians ever laugh at anything?" Honestly, I think the question should be "do we ever stop laughing?"
My wife walked into the house one, day from having been out in our shop. She had a puzzled look on her face and asked me "what are all of those Aldi shopping carts doing in the shop?"
I looked at her feigning a look of concern and replied "well, I sure hope they're behaving themselves and not rolling all over the place!"
Well, that went over like a lead balloon. She said "you know good and well what I meant. Now, seriously, why do we have ten carts out there?"
I said, "c'mon, you know me. I can't pass up a good deal and Aldi was charging 25ยข per cart! At less than $3.00, look what I got!!"
She like to have fainted.
Anyway, humor, to me, is good for the soul. As long as you're not hurting someone in generating a laugh or two, I like to leave folks smilin'. Who knows, it may be their only smile for the day.
